Abstract
Objectives: To describe nursing students’s perceptions regarding their educational environment and identify its related factors. Subjects and methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted among 1347 nursing students in ten nursing schools across Vietnam. Results: Almost all nursing students (75.68%) reported their learning environment at a good level, and the mean score of the total DREEM was 120.75 ± 20.78. The multiple linear regression results indicated that the higher DREEM score was associated with a lower learning workload (β = -0.61, p < 0.05), and better generic skills (β = 4.56, p < 0.05). Conclusion: To enhance the students’ educational environment, nursing schools and faculties should attemp to focus on a group of nursing students who reported a higher workload and less perceived generic skills.Published | 2023-09-01 | |
